Friends of our Festival
Now in its third year, Capital Crime is proud to be part of London's vibrant culture scene, and has quickly established itself as one of the biggest festivals in the UK, with a reputation for originality, innovation, inclusivity and a focus on creating an incredible reader experience with creatively curated panels. Co-founded by Goldsboro Books MD David Headley, it has welcomed readers from around the country to see some of the world's best authors and field specialists.
In addition to our annual weekend festival, Capital Crime's Social Outreach Initiative aims to demystify the publishing industry and encourage literacy in state school students between the ages of 16 and 18 in London and around the UK. As of 2023 we have 20 schools participating and our goal is to grow this outreach exponentially for years to come.

As an organisation with no regular funding, every year we have to actively raise support to assure our next festival and outreach initiative.
